IEEE/RSJ International Conference on
Intelligent Robots and Systems
Vancouver, BC, Canada
September 24–28, 2017

Vancouver has an endless supply of attractions and things to see and do. It doesn't matter what time of day, whether you want to be indoors or out, active or a spectator, at any budget levels because Vancouver has it all! Vancouver is bursting with iconic experiences that characterize the multifaceted city. The swaying Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver Aquarium, seawall stretching 22km from Coal Harbour and Kitsilano Beach, miniature passenger ferry between any of the nine stops along the shores of False Creek and Granville Island and Grouse Mountain’s Skyride are some of the must-sees that will kick-start the sightseeing and you’re sure to stumble upon plenty of other Vancouver treasures along the way.  If you can find half a day to spare, with thousands of whales migrating through the waters near the city, Vancouver offers one of the world’s best locations for whale watching. Also worthy mention is the annual salmon run, which one can watch along many BC rivers in late September when IROS 2017 is held.  For the sports-minded, catch a game of the BC Lions or the Whitecaps FC, a Canadian Football team and a Major League Soccer team based in Vancouver, expected to be at the height of their drive toward the playoffs.
